Created by winemakers for winemakers, Sugarloaf Wine Co. is a cooperative winery where 30 small-lot winemakers come together to craft ultra-premium wines from more than 30 grape varieties grown in 40 different appellations–all under one roof.
After making wine at custom crush facilities for several years, we dreamed of building a modern crush studio equipped with the kind of cutting-edge equipment, process efficiency and customer service we struggled to find for our wines. We also wanted to create a place with hospitality facilities for small wineries who don’t have their own tasting rooms. Since 2016, Sugarloaf Wine Co. has offered our member wineries a state-of-the-art facility, small-lot winemaking services, tech-driven systems, a collective tasting room and private events space–all from our convenient location at the gateway to Sonoma Valley wine country just outside Santa Rosa, California. From the crush pad to the bottling line to the tasting room, we work to make Sugarloaf your winery.Â

The Crush Studio at Sugarloaf was designed from day one with premier, boutique producers in mind. From the stunning location in Sonoma Valley to the state-of-the-art equipment and technological integration, Sugarloaf sets the standard in custom crush facilities. We provide a true grape-to-glass pipeline for our member winery clients and a stress-free winemaking process. Sugarloaf offers a collaborative space where winemakers come together to share equipment, leverage resources and exchange ideas in one place. COLLECTIVE TASTING ROOM & MEETING SPACE FOR MEMBER WINERIES
As much as we’d all like to believe that great wine sells itself, we know that’s not the case. Many winemakers want to open their own tasting room, but high construction and operation costs keep the dream from becoming reality. That’s also why we built Sugarloaf Wine Co.’s modern barn-style facility in Sonoma County to include a hip tasting room space with a wine bar, multiple lounges, private meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen for food and wine pairings, and outdoor and indoor spaces for events. Member wineries can enjoy several benefits beyond the crush studio services, from having your wines featured daily at the tasting room to booking a lounge for a private tasting with your VIP clients.
