The Wine Lounge at Sugarloaf

A collective tasting room with a wine bar vibe at the gateway to the historic Sonoma Valley wine trail, The Wine Lounge Sugarloaf Wine Co. is the spot to get away from the formality of a traditional wine tasting, chill and explore. We are a custom-crush facility created by winemakers for winemakers with a rustic-chic wine tasting lounge, all under one roof. We serve wines by the flight, by the glass and by the bottle–just like a typical wine bar. Gather friends and family to come relax and sip your way through small-batch wines from our featured Winemakers in Residence with mountain views and grapevines as the backdrop. Did we mention there are games?
Reservations and walk-ins are accepted, but if you want to score one of our lounges or a bocce ball court, we recommend booking in advance on Tock.
Wine Bar Tastings
When you go wine tasting at a crush studio, you experience the education of a tasting room and the exploration of a wine bar-style lounge in one spot. More than 20 different wines from four producers–our Winemakers in Residence–are featured daily. Our Chefs in Residence show off their skills on select weekends.
Wine Lounge Seating
Most tasting rooms and restaurants set a time limit for how long you can sit at your table. What’s the big rush? Life moves too fast as it is. Our tasting room was designed like a wine bar with several comfortable lounges (indoors and outdoors) for wines by the glass, bottle service and snacks. Reserve in advance to snag the best lounge seats by the windows.
Winery Games
Who says your competitive streak doesn’t pair with pinot noir? Sugarloaf welcomes guests to enjoy the eat-drink-play trifecta all day. Whether you’re up for bocce ball, corn hole, ladder ball or cards, we’re the spot where wine lovers go to get their game on. We recommend booking a bocce court in advance; all other games are available first-come, first-serve.
Special Events
Our tasting room is closed during special events, but event attendees get to hang out in the lounges or on the lawns, sipping wines by the glass or bottle. There’s usually live music and games. Join the party.
Private Experiences
Celebrating a special occasion? Book one of the private rooms or a lounge on our porch for an intimate gathering. Our Chefs in Residence can work with you to create a custom menu. You can even buy out the bocce ball courts to host your own birthday tournament.
PET FRIENDLY
Well-behaved dogs are welcome outdoors. Our resident wild turkeys are a bit sketchy, so don’t forget your leash.
Kid FRIENDLY
Equally well-behaved children accompanied by adults can join outdoor experiences and indoor lounge service.Â
Group FRIENDLY
We welcome large parties up to 10 for daily tasting experiences. For bigger groups, please contact us to book a private experience.
