Lula Cellars is a boutique winery located in the revered “Deep End” of the Anderson Valley, whose handcrafted Pinot Noir wines receive high accolades and devoted fans. Lula’s focus is on world-class Pinot Noirs from our Estate and Anderson Valley Pinot Noirs and other single-vineyard offerings from the greater Mendocino County. In addition, we’re proud to produce a variety of wines that complement today’s diverse wine enthusiasts. The goal of Proprietor Ken Avery and Winemaker Matt Parish is to produce delicious wines that are as approachable as they are memorable.
Sosie Wines
About This Winemaker
Founded by a couple who fell in love with French food, wine and culture during many travels to Europe, Sosie means “look alike” in French. Owners Scott and Regina craft wines of finesse, precision and restraint. They aim to be the sosie of their French counterparts. Grapes are sourced from several organic, sustainable vineyards in Sonoma and Napa that all share a pronounced cooling influence that lend freshness to Sosie wines. Their intriguing bottles include sparkling wines made from Rhone varietals, a roussanne, a syrah rosé, a Sonoma Coast pinot noir and Bordeaux varietal wines from mountain-grown fruit.
Burtech Family Vineyards

The Burtech Family is no stranger to ambitious entrepreneurial undertakings. In 1992, Dominic and Julie founded Burtech Pipeline, a general engineering contractor that has gone on to serve clients such as the Cities of Encinitas, San Diego and Napa; both Dom and Maile have now joined the family business. Julie and Maile are passionate equestrians, so in 2012, the family purchased Caballos Del Mar, an 11-acre horse farm. The farm, which they developed from a small, single barn operation, is now a competitive Hunter/Jumper and Dressage facility and also serves as the site of Burtech Family Vineyard.
Fogline Vineyards

Founded by two friends who fell in love with winemaking after successful careers in finance and film, Fogline focuses on crafting small lots of chardonnay, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and syrah from mountain fruit grown above the fog line in the Sonoma Coast’s Petaluma Gap. These coastal hills enjoy cooling winds and high-elevation sunshine–ideal conditions for balanced, focused wines. They farm grapes sustainably at their estate vineyard in the Petaluma Gap and also source cool-climate grapes from growers in the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley, as well as zinfandel and syrah from grapegrowers in the warmer Dry Creek Valley and Fountaingrove appellations.

In 2008, our father, Will Spencer, purchased a piece of land in Dry Creek Valley. It happened quickly, almost impulsively—which, for a reserved man like him, was unusual. At the time, we didn’t fully understand the decision. But soon after, he sent a photo from the vineyard—standing among the vines, smiling in that understated way of his.
It wasn’t until after he passed that we learned the deeper reason behind his purchase: in the 1950s and ‘60 Dry Creek Valley became a sanctuary for our family—it was a favorite getaway for fishing and camping along the Russian River and Dry Creek. Back then, it wasn’t the wine region it is today but a peaceful retreat for San Francisco families. Those annual trips sparked a deep connection to the land.
The land had stayed with him.
He once told his Auntie Malia that when he grew up, he wanted to be a farmer. Grapes may not have been what he imagined—but they’re a crop like any other, grown from the earth and tended with care. In honoring his quiet dream, we’ve made it our own.
Candia Cellars

Founded in Sonoma County, Candia Cellars was born of a passion for travel and culture, and the belief that wine is a universal language that brings people together. After years of exploring wine regions and experiences around the world, founder Patricia Candia set out to create wines that reflect connection, craftsmanship, and a sense of place. What began as small winemaking projects evolved through formal UC Davis winemaking education and hands-on cellar experience into a boutique, small-lot wine label focused on balance, elegance, and authenticity. Candia Cellars produces thoughtfully crafted wines sourced from premium California vineyards, emphasizing freshness, texture, and approachability. All wines are hand-harvested, fermented, and aged in French oak barrels. Built slowly, with purpose, Candia Cellars is dedicated to creating wines that are as memorable as the moments shared around them.
